Austria's international players experienced a mix of successes, setbacks, and personal highlights for their clubs over the past week. From a goal and a red card to full 90-minute shifts in top leagues, it was an eventful period.

The midfielder provided an assist in a 3-2 win over Mainz 05 and also received a yellow card.

For Mainz, Austrians Phillipp Mwene and Stefan Posch lost that fixture, both picking up bookings. At Schalke 04, Junior Adamu played 90 minutes in a goalless draw against 1. FC Köln. In the Bundesliga, Nicolas Seiwald celebrated a clear 4-0 win with RB Leipzig against Elversberg, coming on as a substitute in the 72nd minute.

Prass's Mixed Fortunes

The most dramatic performance came from Alexander Prass on October 25. The midfielder scored for TSG Hoffenheim in their surprising 3-0 home win against Bayer Leverkusen but was later sent off, leaving the pitch early. A game of highs and lows for the Austrian.

Michael Gregoritsch played the full match for FC Augsburg in their 1-1 draw with Union Berlin. Konrad Laimer was in action for the entire game in Bayern Munich's 3-1 win at Freiburg, while his compatriot Philipp Lienhart was substituted off in the 77th minute for SC Freiburg. In England, David Affengruber celebrated a 1-0 win with Fulham against Coventry. Carney Chukwuemeka came on for Borussia Dortmund in the 68th minute, helping secure a 1-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The last four internationals have yielded two wins and two draws, including a 1-1 draw in Kosovo and a 2-2 draw in Ireland. Christoph Lang's late equaliser in the 85th minute against Kosovo, assisted by Sasa Kalajdzic, was a particular positive.

The next fixture for the team is already set: Austria will host the Republic of Ireland on November 14. The current positive run provides grounds for optimism ahead of this important friendly.
